About Lodhi Garden
Around the tombs of the Lodi and Sayyid sultans is laid out Lodi Garden, which was called Lady Willingdon park when it was laid out in 1936. It was given the present name in 1947 and relandscaped by J A Stein and Garrett Eckbo in 1968. A hit with picnickers and joggers it is a must see.
About Athpula
Next to the Tomb of Sikandar Lodi, it is a bridge with eight piers, wherefrom comes its name. It is believed to have been built during Akbar’s reign.
